New Product Scott?

I was looking on ebay and found this. Scott, I think you could do a much better version. Its still a pretty cool idea, though. The guy is asking $12,000 for it. It looks to be about the size of a card table or something.

New Sharks Logo

The Sharks released some new logos today. I wanted to post one of the cooler ones, but this was the only one that I could figure out how to steal. Anyways, its just nice to be able to post again! Hope everyone's enjoying their summer.

Smash Brothers

Scott bought us 2 extra controllers for the game cube, so our family night consisted of playing "smash brothers" with all 4 of us. (I didn't have an excuse)
Gibson as we were picking players said, "Mom, you be Peach, it's not a boy, it's not a boy...you'll like it."
Beck was paired with me, and after about 5 rounds he said, "I like you mom, I like you...I love you mom...but, don't you want to be on Dad's team?!"
And Scott knew I was an easy target so he always came after me...so Beck had to protect me as I frantically pushed every button my fingers could push simultaneously.
Let's face it, I stink.

Time to Face the Change, Cha - Cha - Changes

Due to prolonged technical difficulties, I (the blogspot commander) will be removing permissions from the family blog. This means that anyone can make a comment on someone elses post without signing in. If you wish to make a post however, you must have a blogger account. I would suggest going to www.blogger.com and signing in with the account that you've been using. If it doesn't recognize the username, then it will ask you to make a new google account. Make one. You don't have to use the email account that they give you, but it should work more glitch free for signing into the family blog.

Again, if you want to comment on someone elses post and you want your name to automatically appear on your comment, then sign in with your google account (or whichever one is working for you) account or an account that is already working. When you make a comment, it will ask you if you want to sign in or if you want to be an 'other' or be anonymous. If you choose other or anonymous, just end your comment or post with your name, sort of like under the "sincerely," portion of your mailings. If you want to make a new post of your own, you must sign in with a blogger or google (gmail) account.

In short, this should be better for those who like things simple and those who prefer to complicate things themselves. Please let me know if anyone is still having difficulties after our change, or if the blog requires you to sign in. Thanks,Scott

Dueling with Stained Glass Supplies

While drawing a pattern down in the basement, the boys were running in and out of the room. Not paying much attention I settle down to my work, glad at the happy screams of delight from my children. Whilst contemplating on these blissfull reverberations, Beck interupted, "Dad, I'm having a little trouble getting this out, can you please help me?" So I saunter over to help him, and see Beck struggling to pull some zinc came out of the box. To my astonishment, I could see many pieces of 1/4 inch lead came twisted and krinkled up on the ground inside and outside the house. They tried to use the lead as swords, but when the only use seemed to some sort of lame whip, they went for the zinc due to its more preferred properties of fencing and various other forms of swordplay. At this moment, you may be sure, I was reminded of the joyous thrust and perry of Dad's ruler those many years ago - and smiled.

It's out!

Ashlyn went to show me how loose her tooth was...and in the process she flicked it right onto the floor. What's the going rate for losing a tooth these days? It was a fun night!
