Due to prolonged technical difficulties, I (the blogspot commander) will be removing permissions from the family blog. This means that anyone can make a comment on someone elses post without signing in. If you wish to make a post however, you must have a blogger account. I would suggest going to
www.blogger.com and signing in with the account that you've been using. If it doesn't recognize the username, then it will ask you to make a new google account. Make one. You don't have to use the email account that they give you, but it should work more glitch free for signing into the family blog.
Again, if you want to comment on someone elses post and you want your name to automatically appear on your comment, then sign in with your google account (or whichever one is working for you) account or an account that is already working. When you make a comment, it will ask you if you want to sign in or if you want to be an 'other' or be anonymous. If you choose other or anonymous, just end your comment or post with your name, sort of like under the "sincerely," portion of your mailings. If you want to make a new post of your own, you must sign in with a blogger or google (gmail) account.
In short, this should be better for those who like things simple and those who prefer to complicate things themselves. Please let me know if anyone is still having difficulties after our change, or if the blog requires you to sign in. Thanks,Scott
