Here is a little quiz for Chris on his special day. Everyone else can take it as well, though I admit it may be a little tough for anyone besides Chris, Andy, and Cube (he still curses his memory of these songs). These are songs that perhaps may have received a little too much air play from the Dosser. Just replace the erroneous lyric and then name the song and band!

1. Chris is happy for his baby, for his baby doll.
2. Sixteen, clumsy, and shy; my chloraseptic and I
3. Birthday party cheesecake jelly beans, horray!
4. Soylent Green, she used to save me
5. She knows what she knows; I know what she's thinking; Salty blasted horses.
6. If you don't win then you've lost, what a bad place I find myself
7. Be careful what you say, you said that two days ago
8. I woke up with my bed on fire; wrote a letter to James Dean
9. Andy, Andy has everything, a remote control car, and a submersible
and one more
10. So for once in my life, let me surf when I want

Happy Birthday Chris

Album Cover Contest

My best so far..

Up-and-coming indie band Kamishly Airport. Techno-twins' The Helmet Project...

And last, but certainly not least, New-comer Jisr Al-Zarqa is an Israeli-rapper who raps about the inner-city troubles in Tel-Aviv. (He needs a parental advisory label)

I was looking at NME.com today, and they had a cool contest. I thought we could replicate it on the blog.

The rules are simple:
1. Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random.The first random article you get is the name of your band.
2. Go to Random Quotations. The last four words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3. Go to Flickr's 'last 7 days' function. The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
Put it all together, that's your debut album.

Here's my first try. She's an up and coming celtic new-age singer. She'll give Enya a run for her money...

Camaraderie

Well, we had some fine examples of symmetry and contortionism.

Followed up by a little phone-talking. A real chatty bunch.
Definitely multi-cultural as well. I like Dean Hine in the back with the open mouth. He's got something really important to say.

New Blog!

So I know we don't have kids, and it seems like a trend that the only Walton families who have blogs are the ones with kids...but we started one anyways! Do we get a link? haha. We put up some "about me's" so if you don't know much about Sam yet and want to know a little more...check it out. The link is:

I was out fishing this week end, when I was astonished to see a couple of Nephites walk right up to me from across the river. I hurried and grabbed a couple of photos before they handed me some sundry goods and kept on going.
