I guess lots of Waltons were camping this weekend. We spent 3 days in southern North Carolina in the Pisgah National Forest. We had a blast going down the natural waterslide, hiking to cool waterfalls, grilling the trout we caught, exploring creeks for salamanders and eating s'mores. Too bad we couldn't do it all in our backyard like the Peoans.

Wish we had that in our backyard too! Whoa. That looks so awesome. Beck saw it and said, "Hey, we've been there, it's Costa Rica!" Not quite. Looks really fun though!
it kind of looks like the slide past the mist trail. i bet the water is a little warmer though.
