Thought I'd show off the beautiful clock Dave made for my birthday. The first picture is what he started with and then the next picture is the final product!! Dave got the original clock at an antique store in Nauvoo. Sorry to embarrass you Dave. I love you!

sorry dave, haven't checked the blog for a few days. That clock is awesome! did you carve out the wood? did you use a dremel or dental tools? i'd like to see a closeup of some of the detail work, if you want to add a pic.
Sorry it took me a while to put on the detail pictures. I did all the carving with dental lab rotary handpiece.
that pretty impressive dave. did you buy a band saw or scroll saw to cut the leaves out?
