yeah, i lost feeling on half of my thumb. when i touch the cut it feels like i'm hitting my funny bone. When i first looked at the cut, there was this piece of vermicilli sticking out. Was that just connective tissue, a nerve ending, or a tapeworm?
I'm having an ortho surgeon check me out on tuesday.
had it checked out today, and the doc says i should go under the knife. Luckily he's booked for two weeks, so i have to finish my house within that time. After the surgery, i'll lose 30 million years of evolutionary advancement (the opposable thumb) for three weeks. and i have to go under general - blah!

No idea on that one. I would definately get it checked out. I guess with the numbness it could have been the nerve or maybe the tendon.
