Glaze!

Emily and I have discovered a wood finishing recipe from local wood worker. I don't think I'll ever finish wood again without glaze.
1. Sand it smooth
2. oil-based stain
3. sealer (i used shellac)
4. Light sanding with fine grit
4. GLAZE (i don't really know what this stuff is yet, it seemed like black water to me. you paint it on then wipe it off)
5. laquer
The results were... dare i say it, amazing.

I think I know waht GLAZE is, I think its what Krispy Kreme puts over the donut, and under the chocalate icing.

GLAZE...goes on best when the donut is warm.

Maybe I could get you to coach me through it next time I finish a project. Without doubt, my biggest weakness is finishing.
