Cedars of Lebanon

Thanks for the seeds guys!! I'll get to work. Here's a germination link that I found a little overboard, but helpful.

Down at the bottom of the page, there are instructions for germinating. As you going to do some new trees?

That germination info is pretty good. We've already planted ~50 seeds in cups. I'm guessing half will sprout up. And, like the article said, these aren't 'true' cedars. I think its some sort of juniper. The common name is 'Incense Cedar' (aka Calocedrus decurrens)and they're native to Northern California. Our big oak in the backyard just started dropping acorns, so we might plant a few of those too.

the title of this post sounds like it could be the name of a new movie
