Jason, yes there are new multiplayer battles modes and it looks as if the ever popular WAR IS COMING BACK! Chris, I'm not sure if the bolt action welrod is back, though Tredyark's goons will find something just up your line of attack style. Comments?

I played COD4 for a little while tonight...I think I'm ready for the new one. You can only play Strike so many times in a night.
Looks awesome. Hey, if the wellrod was bolt-action, that would've been a huge improvement. No, it was: remove single bullet from pocket, place into chamber-shoot, repeat as necessary while dancing around a circle with opponent. Mike and I played the demo of NHL09 the other night. It was really fun. The idea of all of us playing online, and on the same team against other teams sounds pretty fun. It may be the closest we ever get to all playing on a real hockey team.
Just read a COD5 review. It sounds really cool. Flamethrowers, molotov cocktails, tanks. Should be fun. Oh yeah, instead of a helicopter after a 10-kill streak (since they weren't invented yet) you get a pack of german shephards!

i'm excited about being able to climb trees and use foliage to cover myself in this one. supposedly you're able to take leaves and branches and cover yourself with them for added camoflauge.

Has anyone seen any footage of the vehicles? I'm curious to see what they've got and how they handle
ps i think it's at Best Buy that they do 5 bucks off if you pre-order it, which i think i'm gonna do in the next week or so.
i've never done a pre-order, but i may if they'll give a discount.
