Up-and-coming indie band Kamishly Airport. Techno-twins' The Helmet Project...

And last, but certainly not least, New-comer Jisr Al-Zarqa is an Israeli-rapper who raps about the inner-city troubles in Tel-Aviv. (He needs a parental advisory label)

I was looking at NME.com today, and they had a cool contest. I thought we could replicate it on the blog.
The rules are simple:
1. Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random.The first random article you get is the name of your band.
2. Go to Random Quotations. The last four words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3. Go to Flickr's 'last 7 days' function. The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
Put it all together, that's your debut album.

Here's my first try. She's an up and coming celtic new-age singer. She'll give Enya a run for her money...

in the words of eric to the cousins he'll never know: "so dumb"
that album came together pretty well though, i'll have to try my hand at it.
I just made a better one. I noticed that some of the pictures on flickr don't work. It has to be a jpeg. My new one is much better. In fact I had to put a "parental advisory lyrics" sticker on it.
What the...?!?! It's a Rockwood reading the Walton blog! Anyways I was getting my latest fix of Beck and Gibson quotes and Britney cheese and thought I'd pop over and see what was up with everyone else. I did this little album thing and it was fun. I have a band called Hormone Therapy and an album called Than to Kill Himself. It's awesome but a little hard for the wee ones.
Mine holds some promise.
Look for the up and coming album from Hillside Cemetary called "A Space to Live." Though the cover is some lame purple flower.
