Here is a little quiz for Chris on his special day. Everyone else can take it as well, though I admit it may be a little tough for anyone besides Chris, Andy, and Cube (he still curses his memory of these songs). These are songs that perhaps may have received a little too much air play from the Dosser. Just replace the erroneous lyric and then name the song and band!

1. Chris is happy for his baby, for his baby doll.
2. Sixteen, clumsy, and shy; my chloraseptic and I
3. Birthday party cheesecake jelly beans, horray!
4. Soylent Green, she used to save me
5. She knows what she knows; I know what she's thinking; Salty blasted horses.
6. If you don't win then you've lost, what a bad place I find myself
7. Be careful what you say, you said that two days ago
8. I woke up with my bed on fire; wrote a letter to James Dean
9. Andy, Andy has everything, a remote control car, and a submersible
and one more
10. So for once in my life, let me surf when I want

Happy Birthday Chris

This is a good one. There's some obscure songs on here. I think I've got all of them except the first one. I have NO idea about that one. I need another hint. I had a tough time with #5 too, but it was the 'blasted horse' that gave it away. Isn't a "blasted horse" a punch on the lips? I'll post my answers when I figure out #1.

I thought that number one would be one of the easier ones, but I must admit that I heard it on pandora recently. Instead of being happy, try crying.

Oh, that did make it much easier. Wasn't that your favorite song? I think it had three lines over, and over, and over, and over...

I guess no one else knows the answers, so here goes:
1. Mary’s crying for her baby, for her baby doll… Inspiral Carpets – commercial rain
2. Sixteen, clumsy, and shy, I went to London and I… Smiths – Half a Person
3. Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly beans, boom! – REM – It’s the end of the world as we know it (and I feel fine!)
4. Sproston green she used to chase me… Charlatans – Sprosten Green
5. She knows what she knows, I know what she’s thinking, sugar kisses… Echo & the bunnymen – Sugar Kisses
6. If you don't win then you've lost, what a good place to be… Housemartins – Happy Hour
7. Be careful what you say, you said that yesterday – Ocean Blue - Cerulean
8. I woke up with my bed on fire; wrote a letter to the queen. Candyskins – Submarine song
9. Diane’s got everything, a helicopter, and a submarine. Material issue- Diane
10. So for once in my life, let me get what I want. Smiths – Please, please, please, let me get what I want.

Anymore brain-busters?
Actually that was tougher than I thought. Very good quiz, indeed.

Wow, well done. And was that with no internet searches or anything? I admit, I wouldn't have scored above fifty percent.

I think I only knew the answers to seven of these.

Actually, #1 and #5 were the hardest. And, I have to admit I did look up the lyrics to the REM song. I knew which song it was, but didn't know what the correct lyrics were. It was still pretty tough, though. It took me almost all day. And thanks for getting that Inspiral Carpets song back into my head after a decade or so of not listening to it.

I didn't know #1 because I really don't know more than one song by the Carpets, and #3 although looking at it now I dont' know why, seems easy now. And I really can't remember the third one I didn't know. Maybe it was #9 but that one seems easy too. Scott, you should be using these puzzle skills on some geocaches. I placed two near your house for you to figure out.
